Tuesday

don't get stuck, climb onto the H for help and get out!

i wonder whose dream this was inspired by?
a bowl of alphabet soup one moment and the next, trapped in a labyrinth of mixed messages and lost children and letters in their wrong places.

your dreams are the glimpse into vast other places inside yourself. it's a if you're handed a personalized road map, a treasure map with clues, and hints to decipher.

go for it.

Tuesday

the orange farmer.

i've experienced some themes this month. they appear in dreams and in real life.

oranges.
my grandfather Bear.
secrets being brought out into the light.

as I understand what these themes are teaching me, I was delighted by a gift my grandmother Mimi handed me when I visited her. For seven years she has experimented and struggled with a lovely navel orange tree in her back yard. Upon this visit she presented me with a lovely bright orange, green leaves still attached. She was happy to tell me this was one of 13 oranges she harvested with her beloved tree. and it was sweet, juicy and I even ate the peel!

citrus sugar cookies! baking is not really my thing yet with the help of my food comic book and some inspired shortcuts, my grandmother and I had a great time making these treats.

the cookie lab

cold cubed butter. it called for unsalted and my grandmother was certain there would be no problem with our salted + no need to run to the grocery!

these were the results. simple, not too sweet, more a shortbread. we had fun!

Thursday

breaking out of sentimentalism

this is a glimpse of a new technique i'm experimenting with.

Saturday

quiet inspiration

i've been feeding my neighbors chickens.
well one of them is a rooster, so I haven't needed by alarm clock.
when i went over there i realized how many other things that were going on,
not just the chickens.

hawks, pigeons, sparrows, AND chickens.
everyone has there home in some way.
everything has an expression of who they are, what they can share.

in feeding the birds, I realized my own participation in life.
i went on to water some plants, and feel their part too.

as simple as this has been, it has helped me unclutter the static
that feels like steel wool in my head sometimes.

and my heart and body really appreciate being around things that are kind.

Tuesday

The Antler House

This was a interesting house in the small coastal town of Mendocino, CA.
I remember asking myself what it would feel like living in a small coastal town, and I thought of my RADICAL painting friends, KY, CD etc. and thought, hot damn what a delightful place to paint. Let me know if you need any more info on this ladies...

boob tube

i watched a LOT of cartoons as a kid. and i must say, i know from personal experience that they kind of were the best babysitters. i mean i wasn't budging, just glued to the tube as they say and totally out of harms way. well, as an adult i enjoy going back and rummaging through thoughts, sounds and colors that were part of my childhood.

this is an homage to the best babysitter on the block, ms. tv.... :)

hi! let the Cosmos bring you some unexpected surprises. These things are sensitive and require some patience and sincerity to be felt for, you can do it, and maybe this can help you!

These friends here were pointed out as the Helpers that Boost and Restore Creativity. Within you is a an entire galaxy of love, vast territories, and stored memories. this is what a meditation can help you with. Take some time and get into your safe inner shuttle and take a course inside yourself. You can take notes on what you feel, see, sense and use them for your own inner NASA research. it's all inside you!!!!

you make me feel so happy so real
you are a beautiful moment

Happy Hallowed Dreamings....

mysteries of love

this is not so much visual as it is a headphone experience.

yard sales are great places to find headphones if you don't already have them.

the nice thing about headphones (the big ones, that cover you ears,) is that they are like an amphitheater for your body, a private concert designed for the enjoyment of you and your cells.

antony may help you with this experience. :)

Thursday

Pima Air and Space Musuem.
My friend Matt and I had a great time
amongst the retired metal whales.

They are massive and they had missions, massive missions with missiles.

And now they kick it under the sun, undisturbed, in the height of their solar retirement.

happy birthday matt :)

This is in Boston.
I started soaking up the parks here.
It helped me understand the
significance of outdoor spaces
where people can meet and
have fun. This is why I like having
my stretch class in parks. They are
by far the best classrooms I've
found.

What do You enjoy about parks?
